About The Game

Skarrynight

Skarrynight, the developer of Safe in Shadow, at the time of making the game
is a 21 year old student in college, working toward a film degree. Safe in Shadow
is a passion project for them, that they've had the idea for in some capacity
since early high school, although it took on various forms depending on the content
they were consuming at the time. The current form only came to be an idea after
Skarrynight played Yume Nikki, and was heavily inspired by the style. Skarry did not
have any experience with RPGMaker 2003 (or any RPGMaker) prior to starting on this
project, and learned as they went. Skarrynight isn't hoping for fame, or to be the
next big indie game, but for hopefully a few people to enjoy the experience that
they have created.

Shen

Shen is a close friend of Skarrynight, and was brought into helping with development
essentially since the beginning, as he had experience with RPGMaker software, and
helped Skarry to learn the basics of how to use it. Shen has also been a consistent
testplayer for the game, and helped to fix many of the bugs that he found. Shen was
also the one to help teach Skarry basic HTML, as they had no experience in that going
into this either. Without Shen, this project would be nothing but a dream in the back
of someones mind.

BullDozer Sounds

BullDozer Sounds is the audio engineer that helped to make
all of the sound effects used in the game. Every footstep, door creak, toy squeak,
and static noise was the result of BullDozer Sounds and their hard work
BullDozer Sounds is a friend of Skarrynight. They are someone that Skarry
met in college, through the video game Smash Bros. Skarry asked them
for help on the project a couple months into working on it, and
BullDozer Sounds work has made the project so much better with their
contribution.

Test Players

This category is for all the test player and bug finders that
have helped Skarrynight in their journey of trying to make the game.
This game would have been a lot worse without the help of these lovely
